After your down?

by James Wright
(Eugene, Oregon, America)

I had a friend who's dad used to climb all the time and he would just pull on his rope after rapelling down the rock and it would fall to him, he did not use a rope doubled up and through a ring or anything like that. how can this be done?

Answer: I'm not sure I have never really heard of any climbers doing this. The rope is usually doubled up or set up as a fixed line if it is single.
