Best Way to Clip Quickdraws

by scotty
(uk)

The quickdraw slings have a tight loop and a loose loop which end is best to clip to the gear and the rope.

Answer

Scotty thanks for the question. The best way to actually clip a quickdraw is to have the tight end on the bottom. It makes it much easier to clip the rope as the carabiner won't move.

The other thing to consider when clipping is which way the gate is facing. Play around with it a little bit and you will start to get comfortable in that style.
