Went down to Boulder Canyon again the other day and fell even more in love with it.This time we went up to the Avalon area. I was really excited because of the quality routes and not too mention the Tyrolean.
Here is a picture of me crossing the Boulder Canyon River on the tyrolean

The climbing down in Boulder Canyon is fantastic, the rock quality is just impeccable. In fact I think that it might just be one of my favorite sport climbing areas in the country.
We warmed up on a nice 5.10c, and then I spent about 20 minutes on another 5.10. It was pretty crazy I kept climbing up trying to work the final crux sequence and having to down climb into a split rest position. Eventually I ended up sending the route, but was taught a lesson in patience.
Finally, we climbed this powerful 5.12b called Ripcord.
