Buildering (urban climbing) is climbing the outside of buildings and other urban/manmade structures.
Quick Warning
This form of climbing can be very dangerous and is usually done outside of legal bounds, which is why it is done typically at night. I know exactly what you are thinking…thanks mom.
But hey that doesn’t stop us does it?
I didn’t think so.
So why urban climbing?
- Sometimes it is all that is available
- It’s fun
- Gives you a different kind of rush than bouldering
- and much more

And when you do go urban climbing make sure that you use a crash pad and some spotters.
Concrete usually isn’t very forgiving.
