Crash Pad for Heavy Persons

by Rich mac

I am 6’4″/265lbs- yes, I love climbing and have started doing Hi Ball- for me that’s 15 feet.

Question- which pad will accommodate my weight/frame?

Rich

Answer

Hey Rich,

Great question. Here is what I would do especially on high ball problems. I would first put down a big pad like the Black Diamond Mondo or something that covers a lot of space. I would then put another pad on top.

For a big guy like yourself it is usually best to stack pads anyways.

Hope that helps.
