First Ascent DVD an Unbiased Review

The First Ascent DVD by Sender Films and director-producer Peter Mortimer, features some of today's top climbers as they go on their quest to be the first.

Check out the trailer below

My friend Steve picked this climbing film up the other day and when I watched I must say I was impressed. The film focuses on some of climbing's modern day pioneers going after some of the most amazing unclimbed rock and mountains in the world.

This movie will take you from Thailand, the Black Canyon, Hollywood, out to the Himalaya's, up to Squamish, and more.

Some of the features include Cobra crack, some deep water soloing by a young kid who has been called 'the next sharma', buildering all over hollywood, and more.

This film has it all great filming, great climbing, huge falls, and insight into a climber's passion, obsession and understanding.

This film is just over and hour and I promise it is worth it.

I give this baby 5 Stars, pick it up today.
