how to make a fingerboard?

Hey I have a friend of mine who is great at working wood, and I am looking to get into shape for climbing season, and didn't want to spend heaps on a fingerboard. I've looked around online, but haven't found a really specific site for fingerhold dimensions, depths, and varieties.
Any help?

The best thing for you to do would be to look online at other finger boards. See their specific dimensions and do something similar. There are no real guides that I know of that show you how to make your own.
