Check Out these Joshua Tree Climbing Videos

Joshua Tree is truly a rock climbing mecca. It has become one of the most popular trad climbing destinations for people around the world. And for good reason, J-Tree as it is known by many has over 7,000 routes, not including all of the routes not yet developed. Besides all of the beautiful trad and sport routes J-Tree offers some fantasitc bouldering. The bouldering areas have recently started to become more and more developed, but as time goes on their will be more and more boulder problems.

Rock Climbing For Life has searched out for some Joshua Tree climbing videos. Here are some of the favorites that we've found.

Joshua Tree Climbing Videos

Cryptic

Now this is a sweet 5.8. This is a sport route at J-Tree which is a little uncommon, but nontheless this route is rock climbers dream. It does not matter how strong you can climb this baby is a fun classic with some great moves.

Hobbit Roof

This is a nice 5.10D mixed gear route. This route has a somewhat short slab and the beginning and then you need to place some pro. You then use some hand jams to get out over a small roof and follow the crack to the finish. A sweet route if you ask me.

Michael Reardon Free Soloing

Joshua Tree is a special place for all rock climbers. Here's a short video clip of Michael Reardon free soloing several of his favorite routes. Reardon is known for his free soloing and this video shows you why. This video features some really beautiful climbs that every rock climber will enjoy.

Bouldering V10 Dark Matter

This is classic boulder problem at the underground. Dark Matter is one sweet boulder problem and if your up for it next time you head out to Joshua Tree try and give it send.
