My Brothers Fall

by Anna
(Sacramento)

ICU

ICU

About three years ago my brother fell rock climbing. He had climbed many times before but this time he did not use safety gear.

He was with a group of friends and decided this climb was a very beginner climb. However, any climb is DANGEROUS!

He fell 60 feet, landed on his face and had to spend 3 months in ICU with multiple broken bones, brain damage, and deep open wounds from rock rash.

Today you would never know of this fall, he is in college with a great GPA, single father, and looks great. He still suffers seizures and has mild brain damage. He was a miracle you may not be! Please think safety first no matter how skilled you are.
