Ok you should add slings around the tree to stop the rope from rubbing on the tree. You can then use a couple carabiners or quickdraws to clip the rope for your setup.

I looked and the rope is fraying where it rubs. Then there's only one rope wrapped around the tree. I guess, like life, it's a chance I'll take or not.

What anchor would be recommended to use a single tree using the "double" safety associated with the serene method. The tree does have two "trunks". I'll send in a pic if you guys think that will help.
